My concept of new media

It interesting to hear that some individuals may not considered email and the Internet to be new media. However, aside from the social networks that keep use connected to friends, family and co-workers the email and the Internet are the first to have kept use connected to the world. According to wikipedia "New media is a term meant to encompass the emergence of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies in the..." there are so many devices and networks now a days that are considered to be new media. Such as, the Kindle, ipod, facebook, laptop,google, yahoo and etc.. according to my definition, new media is devices that keep use connect in a convenient, comfortable fashion. My Essence

My Name is Nancy and I m a Junior at Brooklyn college. I work full time and go to school full time. I work for the Chief Medicals office, which we basically take in evidence from drug, rape, and violence cases and etc... My title is Clerical Associate. My major is Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Consumer Behavior. (I m depending weather to also add Journalism, as a second minor) My goal is to receive a PH.D in Business if not Marketing. I m 24 years old and I m a big magazine lover. My passion and long time dream is to become the Chief Executive Officer of Essence magazine. My hobbies are shopping, getting manicures and pedicures once a week. I love horse back riding, Broadway shows, traveling (haven't traveled much) singing, (hope to compose a single one day) I m a girly girl and love being with my girls. My favorite shows are Girlfriends (the first session), The Hills, I love Lucy, Family Matters, the Cosby show and most of the old time classics. I love listening to all genres of music, I prefer Gospel, Jazz, soul & R&B, punk, rock and instrumental. I aspire to be very successful if not comfortable.
